These terms cover the use of maxmayseo.com and the services provided by Max May SEO.
Services
Services include search engine optimisation, local search and business profile management, content, advertising management, and related consulting. The specific scope of any engagement is agreed in writing before work begins.
Engagements
Work is provided on a month to month basis unless agreed otherwise. Either party may end the engagement with thirty days notice. Fees are billed monthly in advance.
Work produced for a client belongs to that client. Website files, content, and account access remain the client's property, and accounts are set up in the client's name wherever possible.
No guarantee of results
Search rankings, traffic, and lead volume depend on factors outside anyone's control, including search engine algorithms, competitor activity, and market conditions. No specific ranking, traffic level, or revenue outcome is promised or guaranteed. Any figures shown on this site describe past results for a specific client and are not a prediction of future performance.
Client responsibilities
- Providing timely access to websites, analytics, and business accounts needed to do the work
- Providing accurate information about the business, its licences, and its services
- Reviewing and approving work where approval is requested
Work may be delayed where access or approvals are outstanding.
Text messages
Where text message notifications are set up as part of an engagement, they are sent only to the client and to staff the client has authorised. Message frequency varies with account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages or HELP for assistance.
Confidentiality
Client information, strategy, and performance data are treated as confidential and are not disclosed to other clients or third parties, except where a client has given permission or where disclosure is required by law.

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from services provided is limited to the fees paid for the month in which the claim arose. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
